Golden Seafood & Steak House

e had such a lovely dinner at the Golden Seafood. It is a very laid back environment and as group of 5 we had starters and mains. Everything was brought out really quickly and we were able to mix up starters for mains for people that wanted smaller portions. All of the dishes were packed with flavour, i would particularly recommend the seafood platter, it was so delicious! The restaurant itself is beautifully put together and it was just a lovely relaxed dinner with really tasty seafood, you couldn’t really go wrong!

this place is sooo good !!!! the service was excellent - our server was attentive, friendly and patient with all of my dad's questions. the lamb chops came with a salad on the menu but they initially forgot it, but then brought a whole seperate salad to compensate. the complimentary bread was also delicious. everything was delicious ! so flavourful, nothing was bland at all. portion sizes are super generous and filling, we ended up taking half of the meal home. they provide foil container boxes for u to do so. fyi they don't provide tap water, just bottled. but that was the only note i had for the place, everything else was truly exceptional. support small, family-run businesses and check this place out !! it is a little difficult to find at first if u dont know where ur looking. its on a corner as u turn off waterloo road, next to a corner shop and a couple takeaway places. past the mercedes benz garage as ur coming from hanley. sooo worth the initial faff of trying to find it though. the prawns in the shrimp 1kg bucket were bigger and as good as jimmy's killer prawns. the lamb chops were tender and u get about 6. the chicken skewer was just okay, but u get a very decent portion and the chips are well-seasoned. the creamy shrimp pasta is sooo good and u get loads of big shrimp ! could keep saying more good things, but just try the place urself. the owners are lovely also, very friendly.

Ate 24/07/25 .What a hidden diamond .starter salmon on Brioche 10/10.shared the food of the sea Misto mix .11/10 staggeringly good .Bottle of wine+ two meals etc .may seem expensive but you get quality beautiful food worth every penny in my world.chatted to chef and or waiter . The service and people are top top class .It’s a proper hidden diamond .So good they ordered fresh Oysters for me tonight friday 25th I’m going back on my own .love the place .The place itself is tiny but clean and a great little atmosphere.try it you won’t be disappointed .

I recently visited Golden Seafood and Steak House, and it was an lovely experience.The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing evening with friends or family.The staff are super friendly and really go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable. As for the food – it’s simply outstanding! 😍Whether you're a seafood lover or craving a great steak, every dish is cooked to perfection. Definitely a place you should try. 🤩
